Hand Dyed Kibira Noren

These noren are all hand dyed using a traditional Japanese method called Wazome and Hikizome which allows the artist to create intricate and delicate designs.

The fabric - Kibira - is a loosely woven hemp which exudes style and class and possesses a translucent quality. Whether used as doorway dividers, curtains or wall hangings, these are truly exquisite expressions of Japanese design and art.
