Kyo Kanoko Shibori is a method that has been used for centuries by the craftsmen of Kyoto to create beautifully patterned cloth. The noren shown here are all made in the Kyoto area by artisans skilled in this traditional Japanese craft.

Many Kyo Kanoko Shibori Noren are certified as "traditional craft and art" by the Japanese government.

These imported Japanese noren are true collectibles.Their beauty and style suit most modern decor and they can readily be mounted and framed or used as wall hangings in addition to their traditional use as room dividers.
